Is the problem the shoulder or is it the Tricep?
One of the more overlooked causes of shoulder problems is the tricep. It can cause problems on the side of the shoulder, especially when the arm is is brought across the body. This was the case in the last 3 patients we had. All 3 had shoulder problems and in all three cases we adjusted their shoulders and used our soft tissue techniques on multiple shoulder muscles. All had improvement, but none were 100% improved until the tricep muscle was addressed. The tricep muscle does not have to have had an “injury” although it can. Most of the time we find it is from repetitive strain from either exercise or poor work posture.
